Together We Are a Stronger Academy

At this year’s Annual Assembly, attendees were able to engage in the “We Are” wall, an initiative of the AAHPM Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee and sequel to the 2017 “I Am” wall. The wall was a vehicle for sharing, with attendees writing words, feelings, and statements about who “We Are.” With a collage of more than a thousand hand-sized spaces to write on, the wall gave attendees the opportunity to express their thoughts.

From afar, the “We Are” wall was visually compelling with its collage of colors, and getting close to the wall to read what attendees wrote was a powerful experience.
